The European Group on Graves’ Orbitopathy (EUGOGO) is a multidisciplinary consortium of clinicians who have a special clinical and research interest in Graves' orbitopathy (GO).

These include:

  • Endocrinologists
  • Ophthalmologists
  • Epidemiologists
  • Radiologists
  • Psychologists
  • Research Scientists

All these people have one vision:

To improve the management and quality of life of patients with Graves’ orbitopathy through standardised assessment, education and collaborative research. Many centres in Europe and elsewhere have previously conducted clinical studies on Graves’ orbitopathy. However, difficulties in recruiting large numbers of patients and variations in clinical assessment have frustrated attempts to determine the best treatment available for GO. To overcome these limitations, nine European Centres joined forces in 1999 and founded EUGOGO.
